Healthcare Fraud
Will has represented clients in numerous healthcare fraud investigations. These cases involve federal statutes and regulations that give the government broad powers to investigate and charge people crimes arising from reimbursements paid by Medicaid, Medicare, and other federal programs.
Many people are unaware that they risk criminal liability for their business with these programs, and so a big part of Will’s work is advising clients about how the laws work.
Will uses his experience as a litigator to advise clients on how to respond to fraud allegations and challenge them in court. He also uses his experience in previous investigations to help clients develop a strategy for obtaining the best outcome in a healthcare fraud investigation.
In particular, Will has defended clients accused of healthcare fraud in federal courts in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC, and helped persuade prosecutors to reach favorable results.
